savannah is here!
page and anthony are dear friends of ours that have had our back (and given fantastic advice) through some tough times. we are so thankful for them, and were super excited to get some pictures when savannah made her debut (and took her sweet almost 2 weeks overdue time to do so!). she joined sister keira and these two are going to be the best of buds.
emerson is here!
Derek and Laura welcomed little Emerson into the family about two weeks ago. He joins sweet brother Bennett to make this a family of red headed children! We loved being able to meet the boys and hang out with Derek and Laura – it had been way too long since we had seen them!
baby james is here!
We absolutely love this family. They have trusted us to capture Emma’s newborn photos, Emma’s 6 month photos, and now, family pictures with their brand new son, James. We have enjoyed so much watching Emma grow, and now are thrilled to see their family grow even more.
baby evan is here!
Baby Evan was one of the easiest newborns I had ever seen! He was such a sweet sleeper that we could get lots of great pictures. His brother, Tyler, was so fun and full of energy. I had such a fun morning with the whole family!
baby audrey is here!
Baby Audrey arrived just 10 days ago, and she is cute as a button. Phil and Laura are awesome parents, and she sure has some wonderful family to love her, also. We enjoyed the time meeting Baby Audrey, along with some special guests (Carson and Toby the dogs!).
baby mark is here!
Winter is a slow photography time here in Michigan (I wonder why…), so we were really excited to meet up for Mark’s newborn photos! Mark has a sweet big sister that insists on holding him often (and eating lots of crackers, too!). The family just moved to a new house in Saline, and we really enjoyed getting to know them.
baby noel is here!
Baby Noel entered the world about 2 weeks early – with more hair than I have ever seen on a baby! She is such a sweet little girl and we are so happy for Shaun and Joy.

Miriam is the newest addition for the Smith family, joining brother Ezra! Their house was perfect for photos, and it was even 78 degrees in October! You can see we had some special company next door, too!
selah grace is here!
Holding and photographing Selah Grace at 10 hours old was such an honor! It was so special to see Mike and Erin interact with their new baby girl. Congratulations to the Penns – now a family of FOUR! Not only was this my first hospital shoot, but it is also my first entirely black and white post.

I have been looking SO forward to taking newborn photos for Joe and Karen since their maternity shoot (which also happens to be one of my favorite shoots to date). They knew they were having a girl, but kept the name secret – and isn’t Eden Elizabeth one of the greatest names you’ve heard? Baby Eden lives up to her name by being serious and cute all at the same time. I loved putting together this preview – Joe and Karen, I hope you love it too!
