selah grace is here!

Holding and photographing Selah Grace at 10 hours old was such an honor! It was so special to see Mike and Erin interact with their new baby girl. Congratulations to the Penns – now a family of FOUR! Not only was this my first hospital shoot, but it is also my first entirely black and white post.

Also, here’s a first of a blog post – a picture of me with Baby Selah!

ben’s a senior!

David has coached Ben in baseball for the last two seasons, so taking pictures with Ben was so fun. We had not shot any senior pictures in downtown Dexter yet, and as suspected, it’s a great little town for pictures.

fall with the odoms

We cannot believe how much the Odom girls grow each time we are with them! Lucy and Julia are some of our favorite kids (even if sometimes we are not necessarily their favorite people as you can see in one of these photos!), and we love documenting them throughout the years. The Odoms have a beautiful new home and we enjoyed playing in their awesome backyard to get some updated fall photos.

maggie’s senior pictures

Maggie’s senior pictures were a breeze – she’s so beautiful, you couldn’t even take a bad picture of her if you tried! We had a great time at Hudson Mills – the rain held off and we were able to get lots of photos.

gisa goose

My favorite part about this photoshoot was the way Anya could get Gisa to smile everytime by singing her a song she had sang to her every day since she was born! We took these photos at Kensington Park and it was an awesome place to shoot – great family, great location, great baby! Anya really likes Instagram photos also, so David took some of those as we shot – we’ve posted some of them at the end!

the macdonells!

Coming back from a vacation is never fun – but photographing families like the MacDonells when we return makes it a bit better :) We spent some time with their three boys before school started – can’t believe it’s already the fall!

julianne is a senior!

I cannot believe that Julianne is already a senior! We had a great afternoon hanging out and taking pictures at the house, and then going to the barn to meet Poison (the horse)! It was our first senior picture experience with a horse, and it was so much fun. I really enjoyed getting to know Julianne better during the photo shoot, and wish her all the luck in the future!
